1. The studio behind the request

These terms are with Vexbun, trading at vexbun.com. Vexbun is a small digital studio for short, bounded website and interface projects. Its public contact address is in Austin, Texas, United States. The address identifies the operator; it does not create an appointment or offer an in-person service.

Read the studio page for the working approach. This document sets the website terms; a separate accepted project agreement sets the obligations for the particular work. No description of the studio creates a promise about staffing, operating history or project availability.

2. A short website project has a written boundary

The service catalogue describes inquiry-only digital work. A website scope consultation separates the requested outcome from the surrounding work. A focused website build covers a named page, route or small interface change. A website refinement service separates observations on an existing page from the corrections the client actually asks Vexbun to make.

A consultation is not automatically an implementation commission. Finding another issue during a precision pass does not add it to the accepted correction list. A focused build is not a standing commitment to develop every connected route. The agreed scope must make these distinctions visible before work begins.

What needs a separate agreement

Hosting and ongoing maintenance are not silently included. Neither are third-party subscriptions or new routes that sit outside the named output. If one of these is needed, its responsibility and cost must be recorded in writing. No service page offers a complete accessibility audit, a security audit or a legal compliance certification.

The project record should identify the material to be supplied by the client, the person authorised to approve the result, and the conditions for handoff. A small task can still depend on a difficult approval or missing content. Calling it small does not remove that dependency.

3. Sending a brief does not book the work

Nothing is sold or paid for on this website. There is no account, password, cart or checkout. An inquiry, a chat message or a receipt reference confirms neither a purchase nor a reserved start date. It gives Vexbun a request to assess.

An inquiry becomes an accepted project only when Vexbun and the client expressly agree the written scope and commercial terms. Those terms identify the deliverable, quotation basis, responsibilities and acceptance arrangements. A reply acknowledging a message is not that agreement. Silence is not acceptance either.

The website does not publish a service price. If an indicative figure is provided while discussing a request, it is an estimate rather than a binding quote unless expressly identified and accepted as part of the written project agreement. Do not rely on an early estimate to assume that work outside the discussed boundary is included.

The contact page is the route for a new inquiry. Its consent line permits the handling needed to respond to that inquiry. It is separate from optional advertising storage and does not accept a future project on your behalf.

4. The quotation follows the actual task

Quotations are in USD. Vexbun does not publish a flat price for a short website project, because the route boundary and the condition of the supplied material determine the work. Payment arrangements for an accepted project belong in its written agreement. This website does not collect payment or card data.

Scope consultation
Quoted after the request and existing material are reviewed.
Focused web build
Quoted against the named route, assets, and approval boundary.
Precision pass
Quoted against the page, issue list, and correction boundary.

A changed request needs a changed decision

Adding a route, replacing supplied content after approval, or widening an issue list can alter both effort and timing. A new request is discussed as a scope change before it becomes part of the agreed work. It is not hidden inside the previous quotation, and it is not automatically accepted because it appears in an email thread.

Where a requested change affects the price or schedule, the revised boundary and terms need written agreement. The client can decide whether to proceed with that change. Until then, the earlier agreement remains the reference for the work already accepted, subject to any pause or cancellation arrangement made between the parties.

Third-party fees are not represented as Vexbun service prices. A hosting plan, licence or subscription may have terms set by its own provider. Responsibility for obtaining and paying for it must be settled explicitly when it is relevant to the output.

5. Use the site to discuss legitimate work

You may read the service information and use the contact routes to ask about work or your visitor rights. Do not use the forms or chat to impersonate another person, send unlawful content, or interfere with someone else's request. Supply a reply route you are entitled to use.

Do not try to defeat access controls, probe private systems without permission, send malicious code, or automate abusive requests. A service inquiry does not authorise access to any system. We can refuse a request for work that involves material or conduct the client has no right to use.

Client-supplied material remains the client's responsibility

Before asking Vexbun to use text, photographs, marks or other assets, the client must have the rights and permissions needed for the agreed use. This includes permission to share personal information contained in the supplied material. Providing a file does not demonstrate that it can lawfully be published.

Content approval belongs to the person identified in the project agreement. Vexbun's placement of supplied copy is not legal advice about its claims. If the page requires a regulated disclosure or permission, that requirement must be raised during scoping and checked by a person qualified to make the relevant decision.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, medical information or other sensitive material in the public form or support chat. An inquiry needs enough context to assess the task, not a copy of private customer records.

6. Website rights and project rights are different

The text, photographs and marks on this site are owned by Vexbun or used under the rights of their respective owners or licensors. Viewing them gives permission to read the site for its intended purpose. It does not transfer ownership or give permission to republish a photograph, copy the site for commercial use, or imply that Vexbun endorses another business.

Editorial photographs illustrate digital working methods. They are not presented as named client projects, proof of commercial outcomes or a record of particular staff or premises. Do not attribute an unmentioned client or result to an image.

Handoff is defined in the accepted agreement

Ownership and permitted use of a commissioned output are set out in the written project agreement. That agreement should distinguish the agreed deliverable from existing tools and third-party material. It also records the files or access arrangements included in handoff and any conditions attached to their release.

A preview is not an automatic transfer of rights. Nor does receiving a finished page grant ownership of a separately licensed font, photograph or software component. Third-party licence conditions continue to apply to the material they cover. Ask about intended future uses before approval if the output needs to be reused beyond the agreed project.

Where the work is a review, the output may be findings and a scope direction rather than production files. The website handoff service described in the catalogue is therefore read against the particular output accepted, not as a promise to deliver every possible source asset.

7. No site-level result or delivery guarantee

The website and its general information are provided as is, subject to applicable law. Vexbun does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a general service description is suitable for every possible project. A project needs its own agreed scope.

No site-level delivery-time, commercial-result, search-ranking or conversion guarantee is offered. A focused website build can define what will be made. It cannot promise how a search engine will rank it or how visitors will behave. An example of a layout issue is not a claim about measured results from past work.

Any agreed correction obligations belong in the written project agreement. That agreement determines the acceptance process and the handling of a reported issue. There is no standard revision count or warranty period promised on this site. If a correction is requested, distinguish a failure to meet the accepted scope from a new requirement that changes it.

External dependencies have their own conditions

A third-party service can change its availability or requirements. Browser updates and client-side changes can also alter the behaviour of a delivered page. Responsibility for monitoring and maintaining those dependencies is not included unless the accepted agreement says so. This does not excuse a failure to perform obligations Vexbun actually accepts.

No wording in this section removes a warranty or other protection that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. The same applies to the liability terms below. A project agreement cannot be read as taking away a non-waivable statutory right.

8. Responsibility stays with the accepted obligations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vexbun is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, including loss based solely on treating general catalogue information as an accepted project commitment. Do not use a website description as a substitute for an agreed technical or commercial decision.

This website does not set a numerical liability cap for commissioned work. The accepted project agreement may set project-specific allocation of responsibility where lawful. Any such provision applies only within its lawful scope and does not remove rights or remedies that cannot be limited.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or any other liability that applicable law prohibits excluding. A client remains entitled to rely on obligations Vexbun expressly accepts. A visitor also retains the protections available under applicable consumer and privacy law, regardless of a more general statement elsewhere on the site.

Tell Vexbun about a suspected error with the page address and enough detail to identify it. Keep copies of the agreed scope and relevant correspondence when raising a project issue. Do not include unrelated private information in a report.

9. Access and cancellation are separate decisions

Vexbun may refuse or restrict use of the site's forms or support chat where use is abusive, unlawful, or threatens the service or other people. An inquiry may also be declined because its scope cannot be defined or because Vexbun does not accept the proposed work. Submitting it does not create a right to service.

Ending an inquiry is different from cancelling an accepted project. For accepted work, any cancellation or pause is handled under the written scope and its agreed commercial terms. The stage reached and obligations already accepted matter. There is no standard refund timetable on this site. The financial outcome depends on the accepted terms and any applicable statutory rights.

If a client needs to stop or change agreed work, send written notice through the project correspondence or to office@vexbun.com. The work completed and the proposed next action can then be identified against the agreement. Stopping a conversation in chat does not itself amend a separate project contract.

Access restrictions do not remove a person's route to exercise applicable data rights. The data request page and direct email route remain the reference for privacy questions. Any statutory cancellation or other right that cannot lawfully be waived remains intact.

10. Texas law governs these terms

These terms are governed by the law of Texas, United States, with disputes heard in the courts of Austin. This choice does not displace mandatory protections or a court right that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive. A written project agreement may contain provisions specific to that project, subject to those same limits.

For a disagreement, write to Vexbun with the relevant page or project reference and the outcome you are asking for. That gives the studio a way to identify the issue and respond. Contacting the studio is not a condition that removes a right to seek a legal remedy.

Privacy rights have their own rules. US state privacy law applies, including California's CCPA/CPRA and the other state laws in force. The GDPR sections of the Privacy statement address visitors who reach the site from Europe. A visitor may complain to their state Attorney General and, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency.

11. A revised page does not rewrite an accepted scope

Changes to these website terms are announced by publishing the revised document here and updating its visible effective and last-updated dates. Check that date when relying on the terms for a new inquiry. The current publication date is October 10, 2026.

A later revision to a service description or these website terms does not silently change the scope or quotation of work already accepted. An amendment to an existing project needs agreement through the project correspondence. The relevant project document remains the reference for what each party accepted.

The storage notice is maintained separately on the Cookies page. Changes to advertising storage choices are handled through those consent controls, not through the required consent to send a brief. Reading these terms is not an instruction to allow optional storage.

12. Ask before accepting an unclear term

Send a question about these terms to Vexbun at office@vexbun.com or call +1 (784) 555-7475. For postal correspondence, use 7 Workshop Way, Werkstatt 2, Austin, Texas 31523, Austin, Texas, United States. Identify the clause and, for agreed work, the relevant project correspondence.

A data request can be sent to the same email address or through the data request page. A data request is answered within 7 days. Do not send identity documents or credentials with an initial message. The Privacy statement explains the handling of inquiry records and support conversations.

If a control or document format prevents you from reading a term, use the direct email or phone route. The Accessibility statement describes the site's access choices and how to report a barrier. The point is to make the agreement readable before work begins.

Vexbun / vexbun.com. These website terms explain the inquiry route. The accepted project agreement records the work, including its correction obligations and handoff rights. Keep that record with the brief.
